In the event a patient or clinic emergency, the MA may be called to activate the proper ‘code’, assisting provider(s) and clinical staff with the appropriate emergency response. In the event of evacuation, the MA will assist in the evacuating of patients being seen by her/his provider(s) as scheduled.
  • Attends staff and medical meetings, as required.
  • May act in capacity as interpreter, as needed.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Monitor all requests for help and provide insight and support to patients on a variety of topics. This includes but is not limited to prescription refills, insurance inquiries, general clinic and physician information, billing questions, etc.
  • Monitor all requests from labs, pharmacies, and other practices regarding mutual patients
  • Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments as necessary
  • Manage and maintain the schedules for multiple clinics
  • Route calls to the appropriate clinical staff member
  • Make outbound calls to generate volume and provide optimal patient care
  • Scan documents and upload into patient charts
  • Collect and enter demographic and insurance information
  • Manage voicemails and faxes
  • Critically analyze a situation, escalate issues to the appropriate specialists and then meticulously follow through with them to ensure that the patient is served in a timely fashion.
  • Identify and document issues that occur on a repeated basis and provide feedback to manager.
  • Remain flexible enough to take on other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of full-time healthcare and customer service experience; call center experience is highly preferred.

  • The Field Operations Manager is responsible for managing a cluster of our clinically integrated multi-specialty practices and be accountable for driving overall performance results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office
  • Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
  • Field all phone calls that arrive using our general office number
  • Respond to emails that arrive using our general office email address
  • Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
  • Register new patients and update necessary records
  • Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately
  • Process bills, invoices, and patient payments in office
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
  • Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering
  • Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming
  • Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
  • Friendly and compassionate disposition
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Performs venipuncture, arterial and capillary punctures on patients as directed by physician and following medical practice protocols related to safety, infection control, and confidentiality.
  • Tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection.
  • Conducts laboratory tests on specimens.
  • Maintains daily tallies of collections performed and enters data into the computer.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited medical vocational institution with phlebotomy course diploma.
